Join RORI at the Dells Motor Speedway!
Dells Motor Speedway, June 13, 2009 - RORI is happy to welcome Denny Dutton to our group, tonight will be his first rookie race. Good luck Denny. RORI also welcomes Andrew Challenger, Paul Bosler and Dan Frye, who came all the way from Michigan to race with us today.
Fast time for the group was taken by Andrew (#45) with a time of 13.734. For our group, fast time was taken by Kyle Lynn with a time of 13.874, great job guys.
Those Michigan guys towed the line and raced very well. Andrew (#44) took first in the heat followed by Dan (#45) and our own Jim Thiel rounding out the top three.
The feature began with Findley & Roach out front followed by Benkert and Brown. In lap three Frye overtook Mahoney for third, and in lap five found himself in second, and by lap six he was in the lead with Findley and Benkert holding their positions. In lap 10 Mahoney reclaimed third position with Bosler close on his tail. Lap 12 it was Frye, Findley and Bosler. Bosler was able to overtake Findley in lap 15. In lap 17 Brown overtook Findley for 3rd place and all three held their positions to the end. Great job guys.
