If anyone knows somebody who can't afford to buy a car, but wants to race with RORI, my car is available. I have the motor that I bought from Bob V. back with a new bottom end so it will be faster than the motor that I had last year. But not F6 fast. It has always been a durable motor. There are not alot of electronics to worry about. It will need a nerf bar and seat belts. All I want is the purse money after the $200.00 sponsorship fee is settled. This is a good opportunity for someone to learn racing and have a good time. Please contact Steve at (847)462-1168.

We went to Manatowoc yesterday for the show. We were greatly appreciated and the group was impressed with how fast our cars ran at Plymouth. We were surrounded by people and questions from the time the car came out of the trailer until the moment the helped us put it back in. We passed out lots of cards and pamphlets. The track looks good. They have plans on improving the fan following, noise and safety reg's. It took just over 3 hours from our house. The track can be seen from interstate 43. We used www.newsracing.com ( page 1 & 2 )and map quest. DO NOT use the last part of Map Quesat direction. They are wrong. Expect a good track, repeat booking, and friendly people.

Servilia Caepionis (1st century BC) is one of the few Roman women cited by ancient sources. She was a patrician, daughter of Quintus Servilius Caepio the younger and Livia Drusa. By her mother, she was half-sister of Marcus Porcius Cato, the Younger.

Servilia was brought up in the house of the tribune Marcus Livius Drusus, a maternal uncle, after her parents' scandalous divorce. She married Decimus Junius Brutus Callaicus, a relative nobody in the political scene. From this marriage, Servilia had one son: Marcus Junius Brutus, one of Caesar's assassins.

c. 79 BCE: Caesar, on the staff of a military legate, was awarded the civic crown (oak leaves) for saving the life of a citizen in battle. His general sent him on an embassy to Nicomedes, the king of Bithynia, to obtain a fleet of ships; Caesar was successful, but subsequently he became the butt of gossip that he had persuaded the king (a homosexual) only by agreeing to sleep with him. When Sulla died in 78, Caesar returned to Rome and began a career as a orator/lawyer (throughout his life he was known as an eloquent speaker) and a life as an elegant man-about-town.
